Camera translation
Hold the phone up to a sign or a menu; the text is detected and its translation is placed over the image. There is a live mode, and “Translate” freezes the frame and works on it.

What it does
Places around you
Historic places, museums, restaurants, cafés, beaches, airports, consulates, hospitals and police stations. The search radius goes up to 50 km.
Voice translation
Two-way translation while you talk to someone. Turning speech into text is done by the phone's own speech recognition service. Requires an account.
Save and list
Save the places you like and keep them in a list split by category. Requires an account.
Directions
Walking and driving directions, live navigation and voice guidance.
Turkish and English
The interface comes in two languages. Translation languages are chosen separately.

Your data
Camera
Images stay on the device. Reading and translating the text happens on the phone itself; the image you capture is never sent anywhere and never stored.
Voice
Handled by the phone's own service. What turns your speech into text is the device speech recognition service; on Android that service is provided by Google and the audio is sent to Google. We do not record, store or receive audio.
Location
Only used for searching. It is not used for anything beyond finding places around you, and records derived from location are kept for at most 24 hours.
Ads
No analytics. We do not use any tool that tracks user behaviour. The app is free, so it shows ads; the ads are served by Google AdMob, which processes your device's advertising ID for that purpose.
Account
Needed for most features. Without an account you can see the list of places and use camera translation; place details, saving, voice translation and most settings require one. The account, privacy and permissions, and about sections stay open without an account. You can delete your account from a single page.

Requirements
Android 7.1 and above. The app asks for these permissions:
- Camera — to translate signs and menus.
- Microphone — for voice translation.
- Location — to find places around you and give directions.
- Notifications — to tell you about historic places you walk past.
Every permission can be declined; declining one only disables that feature, the rest of the app keeps working.

Deleting your account
You can delete your account inside the app under Settings → Account → Delete account. The request is cancelled if you sign in again within seven days; after that your record is permanently deleted.
